Microsoft is to phase out the Nokia name on some new products, less than a year after its acquisition and reversing an agreement that stated it would continue to use the name for 10 years.
Nokia’s non-mobile division will continue to use the name, but mobile phones will not. The new Nokia Lumia smartphones will instead by known as Microsoft Lumia, the company said.
