Sir Philip Green’s Arcadia group will open 28 Topshop stores across the US next month in a global expansion plan that will see the chain open 150 franchise stores globally in the next year.

The Topshop/Topman partnership with department store Nordstrom will increase from 14 to 42 stores under the plans, bringing the UK brand to cities such as San Diego, Houston and Washington DC.
